Building snow caves on Hatcher Pass - 2002

Getting started... Steve is standing up in that hole,
Billy and Ben think he's digging to China

 

Zac went down about 4 feet, then dug upward into the hill... smart guy!

 

Fixing that fine Scout Chow... what gorgeous scenery!!

 

The finished product!  We built bunches of smaller caves
but this one was the Grand Ballroom (the piano is out of view)
