We have two mixed-age patrols now, the Rabid Raccoons and the Atomic
Phoenix. These guys are full of energy and Scouting
Spirit. They're working hard on earning merit badges and they had a BLAST
winter camping! Summer is here and the older scouts are really showing their stuff teaching the younger guys.
Way to go!
Our oldest patrol is the Baby Seals In A Tub patrol, and they're busy teaching and demonstrating Scout Spirit to the
troop. We've had FIVE Eagle Scouts in the last year, and at least two more
projects are underway.
We just completed a long cold winter of camping and earned a TON of freeze
points. The big Homer trip is in the bag, a great time was had by all,
and now...
We're working on the Cycling merit badge, getting toughened up for the
50-miler, and Summer Camp is right
around the corner!
