Hiking Byron Glacier - 2003

The Fall colors were spectacular on the way down!

We hiked up the valley and this is what we saw... clear skies and blue ice

Emily found a cool ice cave

It was raining inside!

Some of that cool Alaskan blue ice

More Alaskan blue ice... can you guys tell me why it does this?

We found some ice worms!

Time for a quick drink and then we'll head home

It got dark in a hurry!  Heading home, safe and warm.
